Each member still tracks their own test data and Patrol runs within a workspace. Workspaces share connections and configuration today; a fully shared, collaborative test inventory is planned for a future release.
Switching and creating workspaces
Use the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar to see all the workspaces you belong to. The active one is marked Active. To create another, choose New workspace, give it a name, and confirm, Watchtower switches you into it automatically. You can own up to 5 workspaces; being invited to someone else’s doesn’t count against that limit. Switching workspaces reloads your environment settings, connected repositories, and test data to match the one you switched to.Workspace settings
Open Workspace settings from the switcher to manage the active workspace:- Rename: change the workspace’s name. Requires the owner or admin role.
- Members: see everyone in the workspace with their role. Owners and admins can change a member’s role or remove them.
- Pending invites: owners and admins can see outstanding invites and revoke one before it’s accepted.
- Delete workspace: permanently deletes the workspace. Only the owner can do this, and your default workspace can’t be deleted.
Roles
Inviting people
Open Workspace settings → Invite people (owners and admins only) and choose a role, then either:- Invite by email: enter an email address and click Send. If the recipient already has a Watchtower account, they’ll also see a notification with a link to accept. Email invites expire after 7 days.
- Shareable link: click Create invite link to generate a link you can share directly, then Copy it. Link invites expire after 30 days.
