Watchtower v0.6.0 brings shared workspaces, clearer test-run reporting, and a more consistent dashboard experience.

Shared workspaces

Create and switch workspaces, invite teammates, and manage members and roles. GitHub connections and environment settings are scoped to the workspace, helping teams keep their repositories and results organized.

More control in Test Center

Choose how hosted Unlink/Relink updates are applied: dashboard-only tracking, a proposed GitHub pull request, or a direct commit. Review the action and diff before making repository changes. Test-source selection is limited to one active repository at a time. Folder pickers follow that source, while soft deletion and archived states make test management clearer.

Clearer Patrol and release decisions

  • Select an environment and pass it through to the CI run.
  • Run Cypress sources using a Cypress workflow.
  • Follow CI activity through console updates and an indeterminate progress indicator; Stop cancels the underlying run.
  • Inspect suite, branch, commit, and grep information in Past Runs.
  • Changing suites clears stale grep selections.
  • Empty or entirely skipped runs show that no tests ran.
  • View Go/No-Go release decisions and receive release email when email delivery is configured.

Dashboard and Watchman

Route-based navigation, responsive layouts, clearer loading and empty states, and improved error handling make the dashboard easier to use across screen sizes. Pending tests and unmeasured runs no longer appear as misleading zero-percent results. Watchman now uses a primary tab based on the supplied input and includes a pull-request summary layer.

Reports and reliability

PDF exports use more consistent print colors. PowerPoint exports preserve complete test rows across slides, and exporting from All folders includes every folder. CI reporting retries uploads and retains reports as workflow artifacts for easier recovery. This release also includes a number of reliability and security fixes across connection handling and result syncing.

Upgrade notes

GitHub connections are workspace-scoped. After upgrading, select the intended workspace and reconnect repositories where necessary.
If opening a pull request from Test Center doesn’t work, check that your connected GitHub App installation has been granted Pull requests: write permission. See Connecting a Repository.
If email release notifications aren’t arriving after you turn them on, confirm with your workspace admin that email delivery has been set up for your Watchtower instance. See Configuration.
